Steamy Hot Spring Couple Session // Saratoga Springs, Utah // Krista & Tyler

Wow. I have no words for these two and this day. Let’s just say we had quite the adventure. We knew it was supposed to rain - so we were prepared for that. But what we didn’t expect was that it was going to be EXTREMELY windy, 40 degrees, and that paired with rain was not ideal. Seriously — I felt like I was in venturing in Iceland because of the crazy weather we had to venture through. However we made the most of it and braved the cold temps, rain, wind, and mud. It was a 1/4 mile from the parking lot to the hot springs. On our way to the hot spring it wasn’t too bad, but on our way back after being IN the warm water from the hot spring…it was brutal.

After shooting in the hot springs, Tyler was so thoughtful and went back to the car first to check on their pup and to warm up the car. Krista and I had to bust up the courage to make a run for it, because we knew it would be freezing. We ran as fast as we could without slipping on the mud. Our foreheads hurt from the cold wind whipping against them and it felt like forever until we finally made it to our car, but we made it — out of breath, freezing, soaked, muddy feet and all. Despite all the crazy things we went through, it made for some great memories when we were done. I’m so glad these guys had such positive, carefree attitudes throughout the session. It was definitely one of my favorites. I already miss these guys and wanna go back. <3
