Heyyy I’m Emily. I’m a photographer located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but I’m always down to travel wherever you need me! I’m basically always laughing + smiling, and always down for being goofy. I love exploring new places and finding the quirks that make that place unique. More importantly, I LOVE meeting new people. Being a photographer is such a privilege. Not only do you get to meet and get to know so many different people (and become friends with them) but you get to document one of their most important days of their life - how COOL is that?!

A few more fun facts about me: I love to connect with people on a deeper level. I love Jesus and I try my best to put others before me. I loooove pizza. And tacos. And iced chai lattes. I love s’mores and campfires in the summer. I love swimming and sinking my feet in the sand. I love painting and basically anything involving artsy things. Lastly, if you’ve made it this far, I love love love adventures.

I want to document what matters most on your wedding day. Yes, the details are important, but what’s even more important are the people you are celebrating with. The connection between you and them. The laughter and the heartfelt tears. The tight hugs between you and your grandparents. The look of excitement when you see your groom for the first time on your wedding day. It’s those things that matter above all else.

This is most likely first time you’ve planned an event like this - and because I have photographed and experienced many- I want to help you and give as much advice as you need when it comes to timing and timelines in order to have a stress free day.
