Boho Inspired // Adventurous Elopement // Styled Shoot
It was a dream getting to work with such wonderful West Michigan vendors during this styled adventure elopement. It wouldn’t have been possible without each person that worked ‘behind the scenes’ on this. Spring Sweet let us use one of their beautiful, lacy dresses, along with one of their long veils and gold bracelet. I told Melissa, owner of Blue House Florals, that I was thinking of maroon for the main colors of the flowers. I didn’t have specific flowers in mind so I told her that she could use her artistic vision. Let’s just say she blew me away, and the bouquet, flower crown, and boutonnière were absolutely perfect for what I had in mind. We used an antique rug for the first portion of the photos for Emma and Andrew to stand/sit on. I also made (with the help of a friend — thanks Kelsey Kuyers!) a banner made with ribbon and white strips of fabric tied onto a branch for Emma and Andrew to stand under. Emma and Andrew were perfect models and were down to do anything. If you don’t know them in person, just know that they are quite possibly the sweetest, most kind people you’ll ever meet. I can’t wait for them to get ‘for real’ married this fall!
